InkBoundArt is run by one designer. Every project gets undivided attention — no queue, no agency layer, no AI shortcuts.
I'm an illustrator and book designer based in the Pacific Northwest. Before InkBoundArt I spent eight years inside a traditional publishing house, designing covers for genre lists that you've almost certainly walked past in a bookshop.
In 2021 I left to work directly with indie authors. The work is the same — close reading, careful drawing, slow typography — but the conversations are better, and the books are bolder.
I take on about thirty projects a year. I read every manuscript I design for. I draw every illustration by hand. And I genuinely care that your cover earns its place on a reader's shelf.
No magic — just careful tools, real paper, and a lot of revisions.
I love hearing about new projects, even early ones. Bring a manuscript, a vibe board, or just a paragraph.
